A Death

On the night of June 18, 2018 Jen’s Aunt Bobby passed on.  Aunt Bobby was a strong, opinionated woman that stood around five feet tall.  She was small in size and large in life.  She lived in Macintosh Florida.  I only met her once.  Oddly enough that meeting took place  at a funeral, in the same Valhalla graveyard where her ashes will be placed in the upcoming weeks.  She had a very recognizable masculine New Yorkers voice with a hint of raspy.  She had a sharp wit and was interesting to talk to.  She had left us some great phone messages and sent some curious gifts over the years.  She was a cat lover.  She once raised Turkish Vans.  One of the best gifts she sent us was this tiny little porcelain cat wrapped in a vintage Vera scarf.  We call it Bobby Cat.  She also sent us a glass block with the World Trade Center/Twin Towers laser carved inside, like you would see in a souvenir shop.  She was a character.  She won’t be forgotten.
